Description

In FIG. 1, number 1, is the overall diameter of 12 inches of the paddle.

Number 2 is the overall length of the paddle including the handle of approximately 17 inches. Number 3 is the approximate length of the handle. Number 4 is the approximate diameter of the inside circles. This is shown in FIG. 2 as well. In FIG. 3 there is the approximate size of the diameter of the Velcro ball of 2.5 inches as number 5. In short all of these dimensions can vary depending on the make-up of the paddle and the competitive nature of the game.

Claims

1. Piddle Paddle is a paddle ball game that is designed to challenge the player in a new way. The game consists of a paddle approximately 12″ in diameter. The paddle face is 10″ from tip to the top of the handle. The handle portion is approximately 5″ long. The total dimensions are approximately 15″ long. The paddle is covered with nylon Velcro on both sides. One side of the paddle may have 12 or more circles, while the alternate side may contain the image of a baseball diamond with the word “strike on areas around the circles of the bases. The Velcro ball is approximately 2.5” in diameter. The object of the game is to toss the ball in an upward movement and let the ball drop onto the face of the paddle and hit the target of circles. The circles may be numbered 1-12 or more, the player then attempts to hit each circle number in order. When the player misses a sequential circle number, the turn is over and the next player begins. The first player will resume from the last number hit on his prior turn. The first player will resume from the last number hit on his prior turn. The first player to successfully hit every circle within the sequence is declared the winner. The opposite side of the paddle allows the players to attempt to hit the base numbers sequentially. Each circle missed is considered a strike. Three strikes and you're out for that inning. When the player the player reaches home plate, he or she receives a point. The paddle handle may be similar in design to a ping-pong paddle, but other designs such as a soft round plastic can also be considered. The Piddle Paddle can be constructed of durable, lightweight materials such as wood or plastic and the paddle should be weighted properly to make the game competitive.
