A wall-mounted dispensing device allows for storing and quick retrieval of thermal beverage wraps. The dispensing device has a rectangular box shape with a dispensing slot located at the bottom for removing thermal beverage wraps. The top of the dispensing device contains an opening for inserting thermal beverage wraps. After inserting the thermal beverage wraps, a dispensing handle is placed on top of and compresses the thermal beverage wraps. The thermal beverage wraps are stored within the dispensing device until removed.

The invention relates generally to dispensing devices and in particular to a wall-mounted dispensing device for thermal beverage wraps. Thermal beverage wraps, such as Koozie®, are used to thermally insulate a beverage can or bottle. Although great insulators, thermal beverage wraps are easily misplaced and very difficult to storage because of size. As a result, many people often lose and replace their thermal beverage wraps or end up with a messy drawer of thermal beverage wraps. For the people who end up with a messy drawer, they often struggle to quickly retrieve a thermal beverage wrap from the drawer. A wall-mounted dispensing device for thermal beverage wraps would resolve this issue of misplacing, storing, and retrieving thermal beverage wraps.
Accordingly, the invention is directed to a wall-mounted dispensing device for thermal beverage wraps. The dispensing device allows for storing and quick retrieval of thermal beverage wraps. The dispensing device has a rectangular box shape with a dispensing slot located at the bottom for removing thermal beverage wraps. The top of the dispensing device contains an opening for inserting thermal beverage wraps. After inserting the thermal beverage wraps, a dispensing handle is placed on top of and compresses the thermal beverage wraps. The thermal beverage wraps are stored within the dispensing device until removed.

Referring now to the invention in more detail, the invention is a wall-mounted dispensing device for thermal beverage wraps. The dispensing device 10 is comprised of a dispensing slot 11, dispensing handle 12, and mounting plate 13. FIG. 1, FIG. 2, and FIG. 3 show different views of the first exemplary embodiment.
In the first exemplary embodiment, a dispensing device 10 is made of rigid material, such as wood, plastic, or metal. The dispensing device 10 preferably has rectangular box shape with sufficient dimensions for housing thermal beverage wraps. Located on the front 14 near the bottom 19 of the dispensing device 10 is the dispensing slot 11. The dispensing slot 11 allows for removal of the thermal beverage wraps from the front of the dispensing device 10.
The dispensing handle 12 is located inside of the dispensing device 10 and is made of rigid material, such as wood, plastic, or metal. The dispensing handle 12 shape matches the inner contour of the dispensing device 10 with a guide 18 that protrudes outward from the center of the dispensing handle 12. The guide 18 follows the guide slot 17 on the front 14 of the dispensing device 10 to direct the dispensing handle 12 downward. The thermal beverage wraps are placed inside of the dispensing device 10 through the aperture 16 in the top 15 of the dispensing device 10. The dispensing handle 12 is placed through the aperture 16 on top of and compresses the thermal beverage wraps. As thermal beverage wraps are removed from the dispensing device 10 through the dispensing slot 11, the dispensing handle 12 travels downward.
The mounting plate 13 is located on the back 20 of the dispensing device 10. The mounting plate 13 attaches to a vertical surface by means well established in the art.
Components, component sizes, and materials listed above are preferable, but artisans will recognize that alternate components and materials could be selected without altering the scope of the invention.
While the foregoing written description of the invention enables one of ordinary skill to make and use what is presently considered to be the best mode thereof, those of ordinary skill in the art will understand and appreciate the existence of variations, combinations, and equivalents of the specific embodiment, method, and examples herein. The invention should, therefore, not be limited by the above described embodiment, method, and examples, but by all embodiments and methods within the scope and spirit of the invention.
1. A wall-mounted dispensing device comprising:
(a) a dispensing device having a front, back, bottom, and top;
(b) a dispenser slot;
(c) said dispenser slot being located on said front near said bottom;
(d) a guiding slot;
(e) said guiding slot being located on said front from said top to said dispenser slot;
(f) said top having an aperture;
(g) a mounting plate;
(h) said mounting plate fixedly attached to said back; and
(i) a dispensing handle having a guide.
2. The wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 1 wherein said dispensing device is rectangular in shape such that the short ends of the rectangle corresponds with said top and said bottom of said dispensing device.
3. The wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 1 wherein said dispenser slot being of a size and shape that conforms to and allows the passage through of thermal beverage wraps.
4. The wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 1 wherein said aperture being of a size and shape that conforms to and allows the passage through of thermal beverage wraps.
5. The wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 1 wherein said guide being of a size and shape that conforms to and fits snuggly through said guide slot.
6. The wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 1 wherein said mounting plate being configured to secure said dispensing device to a vertical surface.
7. A method of use of the wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 1 comprising placing a plurality of thermal beverage wraps within said dispensing device through said aperture, placing said dispensing handle on top of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps such that said guide follows said guide slot, and a user removes one of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps through said dispenser slot.
8. A method of use of the wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 2 comprising placing a plurality of thermal beverage wraps within said dispensing device through said aperture, placing said dispensing handle on top of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps such that said guide follows said guide slot, and a user removes one of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps through said dispenser slot.
9. A method of use of the wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 3 comprising placing a plurality of thermal beverage wraps within said dispensing device through said aperture, placing said dispensing handle on top of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps such that said guide follows said guide slot, and a user removes one of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps through said dispenser slot.
10. A method of use of the wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 4 comprising placing a plurality of thermal beverage wraps within said dispensing device through said aperture, placing said dispensing handle on top of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps such that said guide follows said guide slot, and a user removes one of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps through said dispenser slot.
11. A method of use of the wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 5 comprising placing a plurality of thermal beverage wraps within said dispensing device through said aperture, placing said dispensing handle on top of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps such that said guide follows said guide slot, and a user removes one of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps through said dispenser slot.
12. A method of use of the wall-mounted dispensing device of claim 6 comprising attaching said mounting plate to a vertical surface, placing a plurality of thermal beverage wraps within said dispensing device through said aperture, placing said dispensing handle on top of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps such that said guide follows said guide slot, and a user removes one of said plurality of thermal beverage wraps through said dispenser slot.
