Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Technical Field

The present invention relates generally to a storage box, and more particularly to a storage box that could improve a problem of over-inclined placement angle of objects.

Description of Related Art

Conventional storage boxes are used for receiving various kinds of objects. By storing the objects in the receiving space of the storage box, the problem of scattered objects and messy environment can be improved. Additionally, a user could easily retrieve the objects by placing different kinds of objects into different storage boxes.

Common storage boxes on the market usually include a bottom plate and four side plates, wherein the bottom edges of the four side-plates are respectively connected to the bottom plate, and the top edges of the four side-plates surround to form a top opening, so that the storage box can receive objects with a height higher than the four side-plates. In other words, when an object with a height higher than the four side-plates is put into the storage box, a part of the object protrudes out of the top opening and abuts against a top edge of at least one of the four side-plates. However, when the placement angle of the object is too inclined, not only hinders the user to take the object but also easily causes the storage box to fall. In all aspects, the conventional storage box still has room for improvement.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the above, the primary objective of the present invention is to provide a storage box, which could improve a problem of over-inclined placement angle of objects.

The present invention provides a storage box including a box body, wherein the box body includes a bottom plate, a left-side plate, a right-side plate, a front-side plate, and a rear-side plate. A bottom edge of the left-side plate, a bottom edge of the right-side plate, a bottom edge of the front-side plate, and a bottom edge of the rear-side plate are respectively connected to the bottom plate, and the left-side plate, the right-side plate, the front-side plate, the rear-side plate, and the bottom plate surround to form a receiving space with an upper opening. The front-side plate is disposed opposite to the rear-side plate. A minimum distance between a top edge of the front-side plate and a bottom edge of the front-side plate is smaller than a minimum distance between a top edge of the rear-side plate and a bottom edge of the rear-side plate. The front-side plate has a first section and a second section connected to the first section. The left-side plate and the right-side plate are connected to the first section of the front-side plate. A top edge of the left-side plate and a top edge of the right-side plate slope downward from the rear-side plate to the front-side plate and intersect at two points of the front-side plate. The front-side plate is divided into the first section and the second section by a line between the two points. The second section is located above the first section.

With the aforementioned design, when the object with the height higher than the front-side plate is put into the storage box, the object could abut against the top edge of the second section of the front-side plate. In this way, the problem of over-inclined placement angle of objects received in the conventional storage box could be improved. Additionally, with the design that the top edge of the left-side plate and the top edge of the right-side plate incline from the rear-side plate toward the front-side plate, the object could be easily taken. Furthermore, with the second section, a structural strength of the storage box could be enhanced.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

A storage box 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention is illustrated in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 and includes a box body 10, wherein the box body 10 includes a bottom plate 11, a left-side plate 12, a right-side plate 13, a front-side plate 14, and a rear-side plate 15. A bottom edge of the left-side plate 12, a bottom edge of the right-side plate 13, a bottom edge of the front-side plate 14, and a bottom edge of the rear-side plate 15 are respectively connected to the bottom plate 11, and the left-side plate 12, the right-side plate 13, the front-side plate 14, the rear-side plate 15, and the bottom plate 11 surround to form a receiving space with an upper opening for receiving objects.

The front-side plate 14 is disposed opposite to the rear-side plate 15. A minimum distance D1 between a top edge 14a of the front-side plate 14 and a bottom edge 14b of the front-side plate 14 is smaller than a minimum distance D2 between a top edge 15a of the rear-side plate 15 and a bottom edge 15b of the rear-side plate 15. The front-side plate 14 has a first section 141 and a second section 142 connected to the first section 141, wherein the first section 141 has the bottom edge of the front-side plate 14, and the second section 142 has the top edge of the front-side plate 14. The left-side plate 12 and the right-side plate 13 are respectively connected to the first section 141 of the front-side plate 14. A top edge 12a of the left-side plate 12 and a top edge 13a of the right-side plate 13 slope downward from the rear-side plate 15 to the front-side plate 14 and intersect at two points of the front-side plate 14, wherein the front-side plate 14 is divided into the first section 141 and the second section 142 by a line L between the two points. In the current embodiment, the first section 141 is disposed to be parallel to the rear-side plate 15, and the first section 141 and the second section 142 are coplanar. The second section 142 is located above the first section 141. A minimum distance D3 between the line L between the two points and the bottom edge 14b of the first section 141 of the front-side plate 14 is greater than a minimum distance D4 between the line L between the two points and the top edge 14a of the second section 142 of the front-side plate 14, wherein the minimum distance D4 between the line L between the two points and the top edge 14a of the second section 142 ranges between 0.2 cm and 20 cm. In the current embodiment, the minimum distance D4 between the line L between the two points and the top edge 14a of the second section 142 could be 0.5 cm-1 cm.

In this way, when an object S with a height higher than the front-side plate 14 is put into the storage box 1, the object S could abut against the top edge 14a of the second section 142 of the front-side plate 14, as shown in FIG. 2, thereby improving a problem of over-inclined placement angle of the object. Additionally, with the design that the top edge 12a of the left-side plate 12 and the top edge 13a of the right-side plate 13 incline from the rear-side plate 15 toward the front-side plate 14, the object S could be easily taken. In the current embodiment, the first section 141 of the front-side plate 14 is disposed parallel to the rear-side plate 15 as an example, and the first section 141 and the second section 142 of the front-side plate 14 are coplanar as an example. In practice, the first section 141 of the front-side plate 14 could be disposed not parallel to the rear-side plate 15, and the first section 141 and the second section 142 could be not coplanar. For instance, the second section 142 could extend toward the rear-side plate 15 in a direction away from the first section 141.

It is worth mentioning that, in the current embodiment, the storage box 1 includes a plurality of partitions 20, wherein the partitions 20 is detachably disposed in the receiving space to divide the receiving space into sub-receiving space, and the partitions 20, the left-side plate 12, and the right-side plate 13 are parallel to one another. In practice, the partitions could be fixedly disposed in the receiving space. In the current embodiment, each of the partitions 20 has a recess 201 recessed into a top edge of each of the partitions 20, wherein the recess 201 could help a user to easily fetch objects. In other embodiments, a number of the partition could be only one. In addition, in other embodiments, the partitions could be disposed in the receiving space in a way not parallel to the left-side plate 12 and the right-side plate 13.

FIG. 3 is a side view of a storage box 2 according to a second embodiment of the present invention, wherein the difference between the storage box 2 of the current embodiment and that of the first embodiment is that the front-side plate 14 has a tilted section 143 connected to the second section 142; the tilted section 143 extends toward the rear-side plate 15. In the current embodiment, the tilted section 143 is connected to a side of the second section 142 opposite to the first section 141. A first angle θ1 is formed between the tilted section 143 and the second section 142. A second angle θ2 is formed between the top edge 12a of the left-side plate 12 and a side of the left-side plate 12 connected to the front-side plate 14. A third angle (not shown) is formed between the top edge 13a of the right-side plate 13 and a side of the right-side plate 13 connected to the front-side plate 14. The first angle θ1 is greater than both of the second angle θ2 and the third angle. In this way, when an object with a height higher than the front-side plate 14 is placed into the storage box 2, the object could abut against a top edge of the tilted section 143 of the front-side plate 14, as shown in FIG. 3, to be set in the storage box 2 in a nearly vertical manner, thereby improving a problem of over-inclined placement angle of the object. In the current embodiment, the second angle θ2 is equal to the third angle as an example, however, the second angle could be not equal to the third angle in other embodiments. In practice, the first angle θ1 could be equal to the second angle θ2 and/or could be equal to the third angle.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a storage box 3 according to a third embodiment of the present invention, wherein the difference between the storage box 3 of the current embodiment and that of the first embodiment is that the storage box 3 includes a plurality of hooks 30 arranged at regular intervals and connected to the second section 142, so that objects could be hooked on the hooks 30. In the current embodiment, the hooks 30 are connected to a side of the second section 142 opposite to the first section 141. FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a storage box 4 according to a third embodiment of the present invention, wherein the difference between the storage box 4 of the current embodiment and that of the third embodiment is that, in the third embodiment, each of the hooks 30 extends upward in a direction away from the first section 141, while in the fourth embodiment, each of hooks 40 not only extends upward in a direction away from the first section 141 but also extends toward the rear-side plate 15, so that objects could be hooked on the hooks 40.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a storage box 5 according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention, wherein the difference between the storage box 5 of the current embodiment and that of the first embodiment is that the partitions 20 includes a horizontal partition 22 and a plurality of vertical partitions 24, wherein the horizontal partition 22 is disposed perpendicular to the vertical partitions 24. In this way, the partitions 20 could divide the receiving space into more sub-receiving spaces for receiving and classifying objects. In other embodiments, the number of the horizontal partition could be plural, and the number of the vertical partitions could be only one. The number of the horizontal partition and the number of the vertical partitions are not a limitation of the present invention.

With the aforementioned design, the problem of over-inclined placement angle of objects received in the conventional storage box could be improved. In addition, with the design that the top edge of the left-side plate and the top edge of the right-side plate incline from the rear-side plate toward the front-side plate, the object could be easily taken. Furthermore, with the second section, a structural strength of the storage box could be enhanced.

It must be pointed out that the embodiments described above are only some preferred embodiments of the present invention. All equivalent structures which employ the concepts disclosed in this specification and the appended claims should fall within the scope of the present invention.
