Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a weight bench.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A weight bench is a kind of chair provided for a user to comfortably perform weight training, such as bench press. The conventional weight bench has the function as above, but nothing else. When using the conventional weight bench, the user needs to take weight training equipment from an equipment storing space away from the weight bench and then moves the weight training equipment to the weight bench, which is time-consuming and inconvenient.

Furthermore, an adjustable angle range of the conventional weight bench is relatively narrow, which limits the user's freedom in weight training.

Thus, there is a need to improve the conventional weight bench.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Therefore, one objective of the present invention is to provide a weight bench that can conveniently take the weight training equipment and improve the freedom in weight training.

In order to overcome the technical problems in the prior art, the present invention provides a weight bench for weight training and storing weight training equipment, comprising: a chair body including a backrest and a seat, wherein the backrest has a cushion and a rotary shaft connected to the cushion, the cushion is forwardly and backwardly rotatable within a cushion-disposition angle range by means of the rotary shaft, and the seat is disposed in front of the backrest with a user space formed between the backrest and the seat; a supporting foundation connected to a lower portion of the chair body and supporting the chair body, a storing space being formed between the lower portion of the chair body and the outer surface of the supporting foundation, wherein the supporting foundation includes a base, a supporting member and a fixing member, the base, the supporting member and the fixing member are connected together, the base has a receiving recess for receiving the supporting member, one end of the supporting member is connected to the cushion, the supporting member rotates forwardly and backwardly with the cushion, the supporting member is provided, along a longitudinal direction of the supporting member, with a plurality of fixing holes arranged corresponding to a plurality of cushion-disposition angles within the cushion-disposition angle range so that the supporting member and the cushion are fixed to a selected cushion-disposition angle of the plurality of cushion-disposition angle by rotating the cushion about the rotary shaft to the selected cushion-disposition angle and inserting the fixing member into the fixing holes corresponding to the selected cushion-disposition angle, thereby adjusting the user space; and a plurality of storing units disposed on an outer surface of the base and located in the storing space for storing the weight training equipment.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the weight bench is provided, wherein the weight bench further comprises a plate, wherein the plate is arranged to be connected to a lower portion of the supporting foundation, and the storing space is formed among an upper portion of the plate, the lower portion of the chair body and the outer surface of the supporting foundation.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the weight bench is provided, wherein the plate is further provided with a gripping portion and a plurality of rollers for the user to grip the gripping portion and then push or pull the weight bench, thereby moving the weight bench by rolling of the plurality of rollers.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the weight bench is provided, wherein the plurality of storing units are hanging trays.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the weight bench is provided, wherein when the cushion rotates backwardly to be horizontal to the seat, the cushion-disposition angle is 0°; when the cushion further rotates backwardly from horizontal level to the seat, the cushion-disposition angle is an included angle between a horizontal extension line extending backwardly from the seat and the cushion, and is a negative angle below the horizontal; when the cushion further rotates forwardly from horizontal level to the seat, the cushion-disposition angle is an included angle between the horizontal extension line backwardly extending backwardly from the seat and the cushion, and is a positive angle; and the cushion-disposition angle range is from 0° to 270°.

With the technical means adopted by the weight bench of the present invention, the user can conveniently take out the weight training equipment which is nearby stored in the plurality of storing units which are disposed on the weight bench so as to perform the weight training without the need to move from/to the equipment storing space, thereby increasing the user's weight training efficiency. In addition, since the cushion-disposition angle range of the weight bench of the present invention is wider than the adjustable angle range of the conventional weight bench, the freedom and the flexibility of the user in weight training are improved.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The preferred embodiments of the present invention are described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1a to 2b. The description is used for explaining the embodiments of the present invention only, but not for limiting the scope of the claims.

As shown in FIGS. 1a to 1b, a weight bench 100 for weight training and storing weight training equipment according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a chair body 1 including a backrest 11 and a seat 12, wherein the backrest 11 has a cushion 111 and a rotary shaft 112 connected to the cushion 111, the cushion 111 is forwardly and backwardly rotatable within a cushion-disposition angle range by means of the rotary shaft 112, and the seat 12 is disposed in front of the backrest 11 with a user space formed between the backrest 11 and the seat 12; a supporting foundation 2 connected to a lower portion of the chair body 1 and supporting the chair body 1, a storing space being formed between the lower portion of the chair body 1 and the outer surface of the supporting foundation 2, wherein the supporting foundation 2 includes a base 21, a supporting member 22 and a fixing member 23, the base 21, the supporting member 22 and the fixing member 23 are connected together, the base 21 has a receiving recess 24 for receiving the supporting member 22, one end of the supporting member 22 is connected to the cushion 111, the supporting member 22 rotates forwardly and backwardly with the cushion 111, the supporting member 22 is provided, along a longitudinal direction of the supporting member 22, with a plurality of fixing holes 221 arranged corresponding to a plurality of cushion-disposition angles within the cushion-disposition angle range so that the supporting member 22 and the cushion 111 are fixed to a selected cushion-disposition angle of the plurality of cushion-disposition angle by rotating the cushion 111 about the rotary shaft 112 to the selected cushion-disposition angle and inserting the fixing member 23 into the fixing holes 221 corresponding to the selected cushion-disposition angle, thereby adjusting the user space; and a plurality of storing units 3 disposed on an outer surface of the base 21 and located in the storing space for storing the weight training equipment. Preferably, the cushion-disposition angle range is in a range of comfortable tilting angle for human body. The weight bench 100 is a light-weighting weight bench with an overall weight less than 70 kg.

As shown in FIGS. 1a to 1b, the weight bench 100 according to the embodiment of the present is provided, wherein the weight bench 100 further comprises a plate 4, the plate 4 is arranged to be connected to a lower portion of the supporting foundation 2, and the storing space is formed among an upper portion of the plate 4, the lower portion of the chair body 1 and the outer surface of the supporting foundation 2.

As shown in FIGS. 1a to 1b, the weight bench 100 according to the embodiment of the present is provided, wherein the plate 4 is further provided with a gripping portion 41 and a plurality of rollers 42 for the user to grip the gripping portion 41 and then push or pull the weight bench 100, thereby moving the weight bench 100 by rolling of the plurality of rollers 42.

As shown in FIGS. 1a to 1b, the weight bench 100 according to the embodiment of the present is provided, wherein the plurality of storing units 3 are hanging trays.

As shown in FIG. 1b, the weight bench 100 according to the embodiment of the present is provided, wherein when the cushion 111 rotates backwardly to be horizontal to the seat 12, the cushion-disposition angle is 0°; when the cushion 111 further rotates backwardly from horizontal level to the seat 12, the cushion-disposition angle is an included angle between a horizontal extension line extending backwardly from the seat 12 and the cushion 111, and is a negative angle below the horizontal; when the cushion 111 further rotates forwardly from horizontal level to the seat 12, the cushion-disposition angle is an included angle between the horizontal extension line backwardly extending backwardly from the seat 12 and the cushion 111, and is a positive angle; and the cushion-disposition angle range is from 0° to 270°.

As shown in FIGS. 2a to 2b, a weight bench 100′ for weight training and storing weight training equipment according to another embodiment of the present invention comprises: a chair body 1′ including a backrest 11′ and a seat 12′, wherein the backrest 11′ has a cushion 111′ and a rotary shaft 112′ connected to the cushion 111′, the cushion 111′ is forwardly and backwardly rotatable within a cushion-disposition angle range by means of the rotary shaft 112′, and the seat 12′ is disposed in front of the backrest 11′ with a user space formed between the backrest 11′ and the seat 12′; a supporting foundation 2′ connected to a lower portion of the chair body 1′ and supporting the chair body 1′, a storing space being formed between the lower portion of the chair body 1′ and the outer surface of the supporting foundation 2′, wherein the supporting foundation 2′ includes a base 21′, a supporting member 22′ and a fixing member 23′, the base 21′, the supporting member 22′ and the fixing member 23′ are connected together, the base 21′ has a receiving recess 24′ for receiving the supporting member 22′, one end of the supporting member 22′ is connected to the cushion 111′, the supporting member 22′ rotates forwardly and backwardly with the cushion 111′, the supporting member 22′ is provided, along a longitudinal direction of the supporting member 22′, with a plurality of fixing holes 221′ arranged corresponding to a plurality of cushion-disposition angles within the cushion-disposition angle range so that the supporting member 22 and the cushion 111′ are fixed to a selected cushion-disposition angle of the plurality of cushion-disposition angle by rotating the cushion 111′ about the rotary shaft 112′ to the selected cushion-disposition angle and inserting the fixing member 23′ into the fixing holes 221′ corresponding to the selected cushion-disposition angle, thereby adjusting the user space; and a plurality of storing units 3′ disposed on an outer surface of the base 21′ and located in the storing space for storing the weight training equipment. Preferably, the cushion-disposition angle range is in a range of comfortable tilting angle for human body. The weight bench 100′ is a light-weighting weight bench with an overall weight less than 70 kg.

As shown in FIGS. 2a to 2b, the weight bench 100′ according to the embodiment of the present is provided, wherein the weight bench 100′ further comprises a plate 4′, the plate 4′ is arranged to be connected to a lower portion of the supporting foundation 2′, and the storing space is formed among an upper portion of the plate 4′, the lower portion of the chair body 1′ and the outer surface of the supporting foundation 2′.

As shown in FIGS. 2a to 2b, the weight bench 100′ according to the embodiment of the present is provided, wherein the plate 4′ is further provided with a gripping portion 41′ and a plurality of rollers 42′ for the user to grip the gripping portion 41′ and then push or pull the weight bench 100′, thereby moving the weight bench 100′ by rolling of the plurality of rollers 42′.

As shown in FIGS. 2a to 2b, the weight bench 100′ according to the embodiment of the present is provided, wherein the plurality of storing units 3′ are hanging trays.

As shown in FIG. 2b, the weight bench 100′ according to the embodiment of the present is provided, wherein when the cushion 111′ rotates backwardly to be horizontal to the seat 12′, the cushion-disposition angle is 0°; when the cushion 111′ further rotates backwardly from horizontal level to the seat 12′, the cushion-disposition angle is an included angle between a horizontal extension line extending backwardly from the seat 12′ and the cushion 111′, and is a negative angle below the horizontal; when the cushion 111′ further rotates forwardly from horizontal level to the seat 12′, the cushion-disposition angle is an included angle between the horizontal extension line backwardly extending backwardly from the seat 12′ and the cushion 111′, and is a positive angle; and the cushion-disposition angle range is from 0° to 270°.

With the technical means adopted by the present invention, the user can take out nearby and immediately the weight training equipment stored in the plurality of storing units 3, 3′ by means of the plurality of storing units 3, 3′ disposed on the weight bench 100, 100′ so as to perform directly the weight training without the need to move to the equipment storing space elsewhere, thus increasing the user's weight training efficiency. In addition, since the cushion-disposition angle range of the weight bench 100, 100′ of the present invention is wider than the adjustable angle range of the conventional weight bench, the freedom and the flexibility of the user in weight training are improved.

The above description should be considered as only the discussion of the preferred embodiments of the present invention. However, a person having ordinary skill in the art may make various modifications without deviating from the present invention. Those modifications still fall within the scope of the present invention.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. A weight bench for weight training and storing weight training equipment, comprising:

a chair body including a backrest and a seat, wherein the backrest has a cushion and a rotary shaft connected to the cushion, the cushion is forwardly and backwardly rotatable within a cushion-disposition angle range by means of the rotary shaft, and the seat is disposed in front of the backrest with a user space formed between the backrest and the seat;

a supporting foundation connected to a lower portion of the chair body and supporting the chair body, a storing space being formed between the lower portion of the chair body and the outer surface of the supporting foundation, wherein the supporting foundation includes a base, a supporting member and a fixing member, the base, the supporting member and the fixing member are connected together, the base has a receiving recess for receiving the supporting member, one end of the supporting member is connected to the cushion, the supporting member rotates forwardly and backwardly with the cushion, the supporting member is provided, along a longitudinal direction of the supporting member, with a plurality of fixing holes arranged corresponding to a plurality of cushion-disposition angles within the cushion-disposition angle range so that the supporting member and the cushion are fixed to a selected cushion-disposition angle of the plurality of cushion-disposition angle by rotating the cushion about the rotary shaft to the selected cushion-disposition angle and inserting the fixing member into the fixing holes corresponding to the selected cushion-disposition angle, thereby adjusting the user space; and

a plurality of storing units disposed on an outer surface of the base and located in the storing space for storing the weight training equipment.

2. The weight bench as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a plate, wherein the plate is arranged to be connected to a lower portion of the supporting foundation, and the storing space is formed among an upper portion of the plate, the lower portion of the chair body and the outer surface of the supporting foundation.

3. The weight bench as claimed in claim 2, wherein the plate is further provided with a gripping portion and a plurality of rollers for the user to grip the gripping portion and then push or pull the weight bench, thereby moving the weight bench by rolling of the plurality of rollers.

4. The weight bench as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of storing units are hanging trays.

5. The weight bench as claimed in claim 1, wherein when the cushion rotates backwardly to be horizontal to the seat, the cushion-disposition angle is 0°;

when the cushion further rotates backwardly from horizontal level to the seat, the cushion-disposition angle is an included angle between a horizontal extension line extending backwardly from the seat and the cushion, and is a negative angle below the horizontal;

when the cushion further rotates forwardly from horizontal level to the seat, the cushion-disposition angle is an included angle between the horizontal extension line backwardly extending backwardly from the seat and the cushion, and is a positive angle; and

the cushion-disposition angle range is from 0° to 270°.
